Where to look for bed bugs?
It is very important to know what type of pest is in your home, as their habits and living areas are quite different. In the case of bed bugs in the home, about 70 percent of the bed bugs will be on the bed or very close to the bed area. In contrast, the hiding places of bat insects are completely different from the location of bed bugs.
1. Search the base of the bed, from all directions. Remember, bed bugs are averse to light.

Can bed bugs be smelled?
Although adult bedbugs are easy to spot, you may have a hard time finding them. They often avoid light and movement by hiding in dark crevices during the day. The good news is that even though you can’t find them, you can smell them.
Like many types of insects, bedbugs release a scent called arousal pheromones . When you disturb a group of bedbugs, you may smell them. The smell may also come from their feces. The smell is often described in various ways and can be compared to the smell of coriander. Other articles refer to bedbugs as the “coriander bug.” Others describe the smell as “sweet” or “musty.”

When returning from a sleepover, leave your luggage outside or in a designated area away from your home, especially bedrooms. For added safety, wash your travel clothes at 60 degrees as soon as you get home. Clothes that cannot be washed can usually be put in the dryer for 45 minutes on the highest setting. The dryer alone is hot enough to kill all bed bugs and even their eggs.

The most common type of flea
The most common type of bed bug is called “Cimex lectularius” (yes, that’s the kind that drinks you at night). Human blood is the main source of energy for this type of bed bug. Humans feed them, feed their offspring, and provide them with the essential nutrients they need to reproduce and lay eggs.
Bed bug extermination in the heat – how it’s done
It’s exactly what it sounds like – heat treatment for a room. We raise the room temperature to about 60 degrees (and more). How, you ask? With the help of a heat diffuser, a fan that circulates the room so that the heat reaches every corner, and a gas cannon.
Rapid heating by propane gas (cooking gas) so that within 15-30 minutes (depending on the size of the room) the room temperature reaches 60 degrees. The machines will work for about 1.5 hours on average so that we can be sure that no bedbugs will survive.
