Bed bugs can be easily seen (unlike fleas, ticks, etc., which are more difficult to see with the naked eye).
The bed bug moves in a transparent-reddish-brown color (depending on how much blood it drank from you).
The bed bug goes through five stages – that’s why it’s tiny at first (but not cute) and bigger and scarier at the end of the process (after enjoying you for several weeks).
The most obvious sign of a bed bug is its feces – black dots that are often found on the bed base and mattress – if you don’t find the bed bug, look for these dots first. (If you try to run your finger over the dots and they don’t come off – you’ll know it’s not dirt but bed bug feces).
