What are the most common pests?
Cockroaches – there is not a summer in Jerusalem, Modiin, Haifa and…you get the idea) that goes by without seeing cockroaches on the streets. So how often should pest control be carried out?
This is a question that varies from house to house, from an apartment on the 10th floor to a private house or a garden apartment, from an office to a restaurant, etc. The pests are here and they are here to stay – each season and its pest. In the spring and summer (which for us is from March to December) you will see more cockroaches, ants, fleas, mosquitoes, bedbugs, etc. In the colder months you will certainly pay more attention to rats, mice, bedbugs, German cockroaches , silverfish and even ants (as of winter 2024).
Apartments are usually exterminated once or twice a year (if you encounter different types of pests such as cockroaches in the summer and rats in the winter).
Private homes will probably need between 2-4 pest control treatments per year (towards spring – cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes once a month if you don't enjoy using the garden due to mosquitoes, and in winter – winter pests such as rats and mice).
Offices – will likely need to be exterminated once or twice a year (the first time for the American cockroach and the second time for the German cockroach if you encounter it in the kitchenette).

Other common pests
